GUIDED WINE tastings
Nothing compares to the intimate and informative experience of our guided wine tastings. Our tastings are offered daily, starting at 11:30 AM and running every half hour until 5:30 PM. You’ll enjoy a personal touch as our knowledgeable staff walks you through our curated selection of estate-grown wines and more.
We have three curated tasting options to choose from. Each tasting is $16 per person and includes six wines hand-selected by our team. We recommend purchasing your tasting passes online ahead of time to make your visit even smoother, but walk-ins are always welcome. Learn more and pre-order below.
Classic Tasting
Book a Classic Tasting and let our wine stewards share insights into our most popular and award-winning wines, their flavor profiles and the stories behind our vineyard and winery operations here at the family farm. It’s the perfect way to sample the Chardonnay, Reserve Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc, White Norton, Meritage and Merlot wines that have made New Kent Winery famous.
Sweet Wine Tasting
Sweet wine lovers rejoice! Our Sweet Wine Tasting is just for you. On this refreshing tasting, sip your way through our Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc, White Merlot, White Norton and Trinity wines before sampling our famous Sweet Virginia. Our Sweet Virginia is a medium bodied wine boasting expressive flavor that offers mouthwatering sweetness balanced with light acidity. This tasting is everything a Southern lady loves.
Virginia Friends Tasting
Our Virginia Friends Tasting celebrates friendship in a glass! Our good friends Mark and Maggie Malick have won more than 150 wine awards over the last several years. We are proud to offer several of their outstanding wines with you, our friends. The Virginia Friends Wine Tasting pairs three New Kent Winery wines with three wines from Maggie Malick Wine Caves. Supplies are limited, so don’t miss a chance to try them!

PRIVATE partY RESERVATIONS
Our indoor second-floor loft area is available for private party reservations of up to 25 guests. The loft can be reserved in three-hour slots (11am-2pm or 3pm-6pm) for a fee of $300. Our newly refurbished Wine Cellar & Tap Room – accommodating up to 80 guests – is also available for a fee of $750.
